Nokia Mobile launches the Nokia 5.3, Nokia C3, Nokia 150 and Nokia 125 in India

Nokia Mobile has just announced four new phones in India. The devices launched consist of Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 feature phones while the two smartphones are the Nokia C3 and the mid-range Nokia 5.3.

Nokia 150 launched in India

Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 are basic feature phones with excellent design and attention to usability. Both these 2G Feature phones come with a big 2.4" display and a large keypad area with bigger buttons which make these devices a perfect phone for the elderly. The phones look very modern and come in attractive colour options which also makes them a perfect secondary device for anyone. The only major difference between these two phones is the lack of camera and micro sd card slot on the Nokia 125 while the Nokia 150 has a VGA camera at back and a microSD card slot that can be used to carry music.

I personally love these two feature phones and wanted Nokia Mobile to offer something like this to improve their feature phone line up. The phones come with Wireless FM as well which is a small but useful feature that can help attract a lot of buyers. Read more about Nokia 125 and Nokia 150.

Both Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 can be purchased starting from today from leading offline retailers in the country. Coming to price, Nokia 125 is priced at Rs.1999/- and Nokia 150 is priced at Rs.2299/-. The price of both devices is very attractive and are already available from Nokia Mobile Shop. Below are the purchase links for both the phones.

Nokia 5.3 launched in India

Nokia Mobile also launched the long-awaited Nokia 5.3 in India. The phone comes with a unique Nokia design which helps it easily differentiate from the pool of similar-looking smartphones in the market. The device has a unibody construction made from Polymer composite material which provides better external build quality. Nokia 5.3 runs on Android 10 and being an Android One smartphone it also comes with a promise of two major OS updates which means the phone will also receive Android 12.

Nokia 5.3 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor which will easily perform most tasks thrown at it including a bit of gaming. The phone comes in two RAM variants - 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM with 64GB of storage on both the variants. I feel the 6GB RAM variant would have been a sweeter deal if Nokia Mobile had bumped up its storage to 128 GB.

Nokia 5.3 Quad Camera setup

The phone comes with a total of five cameras. There's a 13MP primary camera with f1.8 aperture, a 5MP 118° Ultra Wide-angle, a 2MP Macro and a 2MP Depth sensor all neatly placed in a raised circular housing at the back with an LED flash in its centre. The front camera is 8MP in resolution with f2.0 aperture. Nokia Mobile has added several AI features like Night Mode and different Bokeh effects in portrait mode.

Nokia 5.3 TÃœV Rheinland certification

The display on the Nokia 5.3 is 6.55" in size with HD+ resolution and is of good quality. Nokia 5.3 has received low blue light certification from TÃœV Rheinland. This means the display will cause less strain on your eyes. Very few phones in this price range come with such certifications. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh non-removable battery that supports 10W charging speed.

Though, Nokia 2.3 only comes in 2GB+32GB option and also misses out on fingerprint scanner it has a bigger display, battery and better and modern processor. Also, there is no mention of Android One for Nokia C3 so we still don't know how many software updates will this budget phone receive.

Nokia Mobile is also offering 1-year replacement guarantee on the Nokia C3 which is applicable for manufacturing or hardware defects. This can be useful if the phone faces some issues within one year of its purchase and will give peace of mind to buyers of this device as it will be replaced with a new one after examining the issue.

Nokia C3 can be Pre-Ordered in India from 1st September onwards and will be available for purchase from major offline retails starting from 17th September. The average global retail price of Nokia C3 starts at €85 and the phone will reach more countries soon. Check out the Nokia C3 Product page.
