LEAK | This is Nokia 2.2 and will be launched today

Nokia 2.2 Leaked Render

Since the past few days, Nokia Mobile has been posting teasers on their social media channels for their upcoming smartphone which is going to be launched on 6th June which is today. Most of us assumed these teasers to be for the Nokia 6.2 but it seems these teasers are for the Nokia 2.2 and not the Nokia 6.2 (or Tank 3.0 😜).

The main image you see above is of the Nokia 2.2 and was shared by @evleaks on Twitter with the caption "Nokia 2.2". The image matches with the teasers and reveals quite a few interesting details about the device like the new Selfie Notch design. The image also reveals that the Nokia 2.2 will run Android One and not Android Go like its predecessor Nokia 2.1. This is an upgrade and it suggests Nokia 2.2 will come with at least 2GB of RAM as this is will be running Android One.

Nokia 2.2 Leaked

Nokia 2.2 follows the recently launched Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 in terms of design. We can see a Google Assistant button on the left, Volume rockers and Power buttons on the right. We will have to wait to see if Nokia 2.2 also gets the notification led integrated inside the power button. At the back, we have a single camera with LED Flash, Nokia and Android One branding and a Speaker Grille. The back of the Nokia 2.2 reminds me of the Nokia Lumia 620.

Sadly, we might not get to see Nokia 6.2 if this is the only phone that Nokia Mobile will be launching today. However, Nokia Mobile is holding two launch events in different countries so I hope there is a surprise for all of us. Just a few hours to go. Stay Tuned! :)
