Android 11 starts rolling out for the Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3

Nokia Mobile is now picking up speed in updating its eligible smartphones to Android 11. The latest Nokia smartphones to receive the much-awaited Android 11 update are the Nokia 8.1 and the Nokia 2.3. The update is being released in Waves for both phones to ensure a smooth rollout.

Following are the nine approved markets in Wave 1 where the Android 11 update for the Nokia 8.1 has started rolling out:

Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Macau, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam

The update has already been rolled out in 10% of these approved markets, 50% of the approved markets will get the update by the 10th of April, and on the 12th of April, 100% of these markets will have received the Android 11 update.

Similarly, for the Nokia 2.3, the Wave 1 includes a total of 18 approved markets where the Android 11 update is being rolled out:

Bangladesh, Cambodia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Latvia, Laos, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Vietnam

The update has already been rolled out in 10% of these approved markets, 50% of the approved markets will get the update by the 10th of April, and on the 12th of April, 100% of these markets will have received the Android 11 update.

If your country is not on the list of Wave 1 markets then you will have to wait for a week or two more also depending on market approvals till the Wave 2 rollout begins.
