Nokia Mobile starts accepting orders for serviceable pin codes in India as the government eases lockdown

Nokia Mobile India through a small sticky note on its website has announced the resumption of sales of devices through its online store in India. The products will be available for purchase only for those who reside in the serviceable pin-codes starting from 4th May onwards.

The announcement comes after the government eased lockdown restrictions in orange and green zones which allows certain businesses to resume work. The phones should be available from other online retailers and offline stores that resume work in these orange and green zones.

The Nokia Care centres have resumed operations too in orange and green zones and if you have broken your Nokia during the lockdown period this is the time to get it fixed. For those in the Red Zone areas, you will have to wait till 17th May for further details. Nokia Mobile has also extended the warranties for both feature phones and smartphones that were due to expire between 15.03.2020 and 15.05.2020. The warranty period has been extended by 60 days.

Nokia Mobile launched the Nokia 5310, Nokia 1.3, Nokia 5.3 and the Nokia 8.3 5G back in March and these devices are not yet launched in India due to the lockdown. We can also expect some of these new devices being announced once the government further eases the lockdown restrictions.
