Android Security patch for the month of April has finally started rolling out for the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7.1 and the Nokia 7 Plus. The update for all four smartphones just brings the April 2020 Android Security patch.
The update for Nokia 6.1 is 55.53 MB in size, Nokia 6.1 plus is 16.93 MB, 7 Plus is 55.38 MB and for the Nokia 7.1 is 16.82 MB in size. The owners of all four smartphones have been facing sound issues after the Android 10 update and many were expecting to receive a maintenance release this time. It seems the users of these phones will have to wait for this month's software update which hopefully might be the maintenance release and fix the bugs.
If you haven't received the update notification you should manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System Update. If interested, you can check out the full list of Nokia smartphones that have received the April 2020 Android Security patch.
So, to all the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 7 plus users out there, all you can do right now is wait a bit more till the Maintenance release is pushed.
