A new Nokia smartphone carrying the model number TA1124 has been certified by the Bluetooth SIG. The listing on Bluetooth SIG doesn't reveal a lot of info about the device but what we know is that this new smartphone will come with Bluetooth 4.2 which means it is a low to mid-range Nokia smartphone.
Nokia TA-1124 also passed FCC and the FCC listing revealed most of the important specifications of the phone and below is the complete list:
- Snapdragon 439
- 5.99" Display
- 2GB RAM + 32GB Storage
- Rear Camera: 13MP + 5MP
- Front Camera: 8MP
- Android Pie
- NFC, Bluetooth 4.2
By looking at the processor used which is Snapdragon 439, the latest low-end SOC by Qualcomm I assume this phone to be an upcoming budget offering from Nokia Mobile. At the Nokia 8.1 launch, Nokia Mobile announced that they will simplify their naming scheme by removing the "plus" from the names of their upcoming devices.
Looking at the RAM and storage which is 2GB + 32GB I assume this phone could be the successor to the Nokia 3.1 or the 5.1 and could be launched as the Nokia 3.2 or Nokia 5.2. However, this is just my guess and we will have to wait till the official launch to know what this phone will be called.
What do you think will be the name of this smartphone? Do share your thoughts in the comments below. :)
