HMD Global has rolled out the May Android security update for their Android Go running Nokia 1 and their affordable flagship Nokia 8 smartphones. The update for the Nokia 1 is 108.3 MB in size and the update for the Nokia 8 is 77.6MB in size.
The update is rolled out in a phased manner and could take some time to reach your device. You will be notified once the update is available for your device. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update.
What's new in this update
As you can see in the screenshots below, this update brings the Google's May 2018 Android Security patch to both Nokia 1 and Nokia 8. Nokia 1 also gets some Improvements to System stability. You can find more about Google's May Security update at Android Security Bulletin.
