Images of Nokia X coming straight from China reveal 18:9 display with a Notch

Nokia Mobile revealed the Nokia X to the public at their ongoing event in Sanlitun, China. Many visitors were lucky to get their hand on the Nokia X and they started posting the images of the device on the nokibar forum of Baidu. In the images, we can clearly see a Nokia X sporting a notch, dual rear cameras without ZEISS branding, and a glass back. It looks like it has an 18:9 display. The notch houses the front camera, earpiece and the sensors. Below are the images of the Nokia X:

Nokia Mobile shared the above image on their Weibo account and as per the info on the image, Nokia X will be launched on 16th May. It is already listed on JD.com, with deliveries starting from 30th May. This seems legit.

Currently not much is known clearly about this device. Here are the rumored specs:
  • Snapdragon 636 with 6GB of RAM
  • MediaTek P60 with 4GB of RAM
  • 5.8-inch 19:9 bezel-less display with a notch
  • Price: 1599 to 1799 Yuan

This is the model (TA-1099) which passed Chinese CCC certification, a few days back. We will update you once the device is officially launched. Stay tuned!
