HMD Global has sent out invites to the media for their upcoming Nokia Mobile launch event that will be held in India on 4th April. The event is held in Delhi and HMD Global has invited everyone to discover the "N-Powered city of tomorrow". This seems to be a new theme for the launch event just like the Nokia 2 launch event which was held at a metro station in Gurgaon, India.
HMD Global is expected to announce the launch dates, pricing and availability details for Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 8110 4G in India. As India. being the price sensitive market, I am expecting the mid-range devices like the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus to go on sale first, while the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 8110 4G being available at a later date.
HMD Global recently launched the Nokia 1 in India and is available for purchase for a price of Rs.5499/- and I am expecting the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus to go on sale in a week or two after their launch in India. At MWC 2018, HMD Global had announced that all their new smartphones are expected to be available from the months of April and May. So, we should soon see Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco and the iconic Nokia 8110 4G go on sale in India.
