Nokia 6.2 gets updated to Android 10


Nokia Mobile has started rolling out the Android 10 update for its Nokia 6.2. This also makes it the 13th Nokia smartphone to be updated to Android 10. Just like the previous update rollouts for other Nokia smartphones this rollout is done in waves as well. 


The first wave includes 43 approved markets where the rollout has begun. Below is the full list of 43 approved markets.

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Cambodia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Iceland, India, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen.

Do note that the update will only be available in 10% of the markets today, 50% of these approved markets will get the update by 1st May and 100% of these markets will get the update on 3rd May. You can learn more about the Waved Rollout and Approved Markets here.

The Android 10 update is 1.54 GB in size and will allow you to set Dark Mode, navigate your phone with new gesture navigation, allow you to reply faster with recommended replies and give you more control of privacy and location settings. The update also brings the April 2020 Android Security patch.
