The faith and trust in Nokia are still strong and a recent survey by Economic Times Brand Equity proves the same. Nokia has ranked No.2 in the "Most Trusted Smartphone/Tablet brands" category in India.
This is very good news that people in India still trust this legendary brand more than the new players. But the gap is closing in. Back in 2017, Nokia was at the No.1 spot and since then has slipped to No.2 overtaken by Samsung. Overall, Nokia ranks No.59 among all the brands from different categories which again is a huge fall from rank 14th back in 2017. The Chinese players are growing strong too and Nokia Mobile will have to do something to gain that lost trust and reach the top once again.
