Nokia and Flipkart announced their partnership to launch Nokia branded smart TV's in India. The press release didn't share many details about the TV except that the Nokia Smart TV will come with JBL Audio. These Nokia TV's will be fully manufactured in India and will be sold by Flipkart.
We found a bit more information about the size of the first Nokia Smart TV that should be launched soon. A Nokia Smart TV with model number 55CAUHDN has passed the BIS certification process. The model number suggests this Nokia Smart TV will have a 55" 4K Ultra HD panel.
A new report by Times Of India also reveals that the Nokia Smart TV will run on Android 9 Pie and will come with Google Play Store. The sources of TOI also revealed that Nokia Smart LED TV will come with Intelligent Dimming technology which will offer better contrast with deeper black levels.
Nokia Smart LED TV is said to be launched in early December which is just a month away. The pricing and availability info should be announced at the time of launch.
