Nokia 6.2 launched in India for ₹15,999/-

Amazon's Great Indian Festival begins in the next couple of days in India. The upcoming offers on different products during the sale period were revealed yesterday by Amazon and the deals page also listed Nokia 6.2 as a new launch coming on 11th October.

It is 11th October and the Nokia 6.2 has been officially launched in India via Amazon. Nokia Mobile has launched only the 4+64GB storage variant of Nokia 6.2. Also, as of now, just the Ceramic Black colour option is available and the phone can be purchased from Amazon.in for ₹15,999/-. As per the product page, Nokia 6.2 will start shipping on 13th October. The banners of Nokia 6.2 across Amazon.in show the phone in Ice colour but we don't know if it will be sold in that colour option or not.

Nokia 6.2 is powered by Snapdragon 636 processor and comes with Android One which promises two years of major OS upgrades and three years of monthly security patches. Nokia Mobile says it is not interested in the spec race and instead is focussing on improving the actual user experience which matters in the long term.

Nokia 6.2 shares the same design and dimensions of Nokia 7.2 but comes in a gloss finish. The frame is made from Polymer Composite material which is lighter in weight but much more durable than ordinary plastic. The main highlights of the Nokia 6.2 are its FullHD PureDisplay with HDR10 support
and Triple camera setup at the back. There is a 16MP main camera with an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 5MP depth sensor. Other features include a dedicated Google Assistant button and a notification LED integrated into the power button.

I don't know why would anyone opt for the Nokia 6.2 when much more powerful Nokia 8.1 is available at a lesser price? What do you think about the price of Nokia 6.2 in India? Do share your thoughts in the comments below. :)
