Nokia Mobile has silently launched the Nokia 7.2 in India. The phone was launched at IFA2019 in Berlin earlier this month. The main highlights of the Nokia 7.2 are its premium design, HDR10 display and the triple ZEISS optics cameras at the back.
Nokia 7.2 is built with a new polymer composite which is twice more durable than polycarbonate and half the weight of aluminium giving it a solid build. Both the front and back of the phone are protected by A 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. The phone has 6.3" FullHD+ PureDisplay with HDR10 support and is powdered by an SD660 processor. Nokia Mobile believes in offering a good overall user experience and doesn't want to play the spec war in this highly competitive specification focused market. Nokia 7.2 is an Android One device which will get two major OS upgrades and three years of regular monthly security patches. The phone has a 3500mAh battery which should give you a day's worth of battery life with normal usage.
Coming to imaging, Nokia 7.2 comes with triple cameras where the main camera is a huge 48MP sensor. There's also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5MP depth sensor for bokeh shots. All the cameras are equipped with ZEISS optics including the 20MP camera at the front. With Nokia 7.2, Nokia Mobile has also introduced a dedicated night mode which can capture between 10-20 images and fuse them together to give bright and detailed shots even in low light conditions. The phone also comes with some ZEISS bokeh effects that can be applied using the setting in the camera app or during post-processing.
Nokia 7.2 will be available in Cyan Green and Charcoal colours and comes in two storage configurations. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at ₹18599 and the 6GB+64GB storage variant costs ₹19599. The phone will go on sale from 23rd September and will be available for purchase from nokia.com, Flipkart and major retail outlets in the country.
