Nokia 2 gets another Beta Version (V1.15P) of Android Oreo

Updates Updates and Updates! From past few days, Nokia Mobile has been busy pushing out Android Pie updates for their Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 plus. Yesterday, Nokia Mobile also rolled out a new Android Oreo Beta build for their Nokia 2 which is being tested under the Beta Labs program.
As most Nokia smartphones under Beta Labs got a maximum of three Beta updates before getting the stable build, we were assuming Nokia 2 to get the official Oreo update this time but it seems there are still some bugs that Nokia Mobile is fixing and has rolled out a new Beta build (V1.15P). This is the 4th Beta update for the Nokia 2 and this Beta program is also the longest compared to any Nokia smartphone.

The update is 1354.2 MB in size and the changelog is mostly the same as previous updates. This update brings Google's October 2018 Android Security update. Nokia Mobile recommends you to download this update over WiFi and also take a back up of your data before installing the update to avoid data loss. For those Nokia 2 users who are interested in trying out the Android Oreo Beta, you can register your devices at Nokia Phones Beta Labs.

It is nice to see Nokia Mobile give the same level of importance even to their entry-level smartphone and we hope that Nokia 2 gets the stable Android Oreo update soon. If you updated your Nokia 2 and found any changes or improvements do share them in the comments below. :)
