UPDATE | Nokia X6 receiving August Security patch along with many other improvements.

It's a new month which means Nokia Mobile will start rolling out the latest Android Security updates for all their smartphones one after another and the update process has already begun. Nokia Mobile has just rolled out the August Security update for their Nokia X6 in China. The update is 428 MB in size and requires 861 MB of free space for installation.

The first thing you will notice about this update is its long changelog. The update brings many improvements to System stability, optimizations to manage the background tasks, optimizations to the touchscreen and many under the hood improvements as well. The update also brings improvements to the beauty algorithm in the Camera which should improve it further.

The update has been rolled out and if you have imported the Nokia X6 from China then you should definitely check for the update by heading straight to Settings > System > System update.
