After updating their Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 plus to the July Android Security patch, Nokia Mobile has now rolled the July 2018 Android Security update for the Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 8 as well. The update for Nokia 6.1 is 87.7MB in size and the update for Nokia 8 is 79.9MB in size.
You will receive a notification once the update is available for your device OR you can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System Update. Do note that the updates could be released in a phased manner and might not be available for all devices at the same time so it could take some time to reach your device.
The update for both the devices just brings the Google's latest July 2018 Android Security update and you can find more about Google's July Security update at Android Security Bulletin.
