UPDATED | Nokia 6.1 Plus appears in Google's list of ARCore supported devices

Nokia 6.1 plus spotted at Google Developers website

UPDATE

Juho Sarvikas while replying to Nokiateca (an Italian blog sharing Nokia news) on twitter clarified that Nokia 6.1 Plus device name was a typing error and will be fixed soon.

Juho Sarvikas, CPO of HMD Global announced on Twitter that Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco now officially support the Google ARCore and also revealed that ARCore feature will be enabled on Nokia 8 very soon.

Nokia 7 plus was not listed on the Google ARCore supported devices before and we visited the ARCore supported devices list to check if it is now officially supported. To our surprise, we didn't just find the Nokia 7 plus in the list but we also saw the "Nokia 6.1 plus" which is a very new device that we have come across. Here is the screenshot:

This is the first time we have seen a "Nokia 6.1 Plus" device name and there have been no previous leaks or rumors related to this device. There is also no other information available about this device so it is difficult to speculate.

Nokia 7 Plus was a Nokia phone with a new 18:9 Aspect Ratio display. So, maybe this Nokia 6.1 Plus is the 18:9 display variant of Nokia 6.1?

What do you think this device could be? Could this be the Nokia X6 launched as the Nokia 6.1 Plus for the international markets? Or will it be a completely new device?
