After rolling out the January Security update for Nokia 3, HMD Global has now started the January Android Security patch roll-out for their flagship Nokia 8. The update is 97.3MB in size and is being rolled out in a phased manner. You will be notified when the update is available in your region. You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings > About phone > System Update.
What's new in this update:
Just like Nokia 3, this update for Nokia 8 brings the Google's January Android Security patch which brings fixes for Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities. You can find more about Google's January Security update at Android Security Bulletin.
