Nokia Mobile launches the affordable Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4 with clean UI and fresh new colours

Nokia Mobile has refreshed its affordable range of Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 series lineup by launching the all-new Nokia 2.4 and the Nokia 3.4. As with every other Nokia smartphones the devices run on Android One which offers clean UI. The phones are Android 11 ready which means they will be one of the first devices to receive Android 11 and are also eligible to receive Android 12 when it is released. Nokia Mobile will also provide three years of security patches. Let's first check out the features of the Nokia 2.4

Nokia 2.4 Launch

Nokia 2.4 is the successor of the Nokia 2.3 and now comes with a bit more powerful Mediatek Helio P22 processor, a bigger 6.5" HD+ Display and a 4500 mAh battery. The phone carries the design of 2.3 but now the textured stripes at the back are diagonal instead of vertical. The phone comes in 2GB+32GB and 3GB+64GB RAM and Storage configuration.

At the back, we have a dual-camera setup which houses an 8MP main snapper with a depth sensor for portrait shots along with an LED Flash. There's also a 5MP at front for selfies. Below the rear camera housing is a fingerprint scanner which is the first on a device in the Nokia 2 series line up. There's a Nokia logo at the centre and we do not have any Android One branding this time which keeps the back clean.

Nokia 2.4 will be available for purchase by the end of September and comes in Dusk, Fjord and Charcoal colour options. The global average retail price of the Nokia 2.4 starts at 119 Euros which converts to 139 USD or Rs.10200/- INR. This is just a global average retail price and the pricing will differ from country to country.

Nokia 3.4

Nokia 3.4 Launch

Nokia 3.4 is my favourite among the two devices launched today due to its modern-looking punch-hole design and the use of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. In terms of design, the Nokia 3.4 easily differentiates itself and the textured back in Dusk, Fjord and Charcoal colour options make the phone more beautiful.

At the front, we have a 6.39" HD+ display in 19.5:9 aspect ratio and the slim chin below it has the Nokia branding. The 8MP Selfie snapper sits in the punch hole cut out at the top left corner of the display.

At the back, we have a triple camera setup which houses a 13MP main camera, a 5MP Ultra Wide and a 2MP depth sensor along with an LED flash. Below it is a physical fingerprint scanner. Keeping the lights on of the device is a 4000mAh battery which should last for a whole day without worrying about charging it in between. The phone comes in 3GB+32GB, 3GB+64GB and 4GB+64GB RAM and Storage configuration which is region dependent.

Nokia 3.4 will be available from early October onwards. The global average retail price of the Nokia 3.4 starts at 159 Euros which converts to $186 USD or almost Rs.13600/-INR. This is just an average retail price and the real price would differ from country to country.

We didn't get to see the Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 series devices at this launch event but Juho Sarvikas did say there will be one more Nokia Mobile launch event before the year ends. So, we can expect the new Nokia 6, Nokia 7 and the Nokia 9 series devices to be launched sometime around November.

What do you think about these new Nokia smartphones launched? Share your thoughts in the comments below. I personally like the new colours Nokia Mobile brought but I still miss the Ice colour introduced with the Nokia 7.2 which is light and bright at the same time.
