After teasing the most awaited phone, Nokia Mobile has officially launched the Nokia 5.1 plus and the Nokia 6.1 plus in India at today's launch event held in New Delhi.
Nokia 5.1 plus and Nokia 6.1 plus have the same internals as their Chinese variants i.e. the Nokia X5 and Nokia X6 but now run on the Android One platform. Both the phones come in glass sandwich design with more than 90% of the surface of both Nokia 5.1 plus and Nokia 6.1 plus covered in glass and these are the first Nokia smartphones to come with a Notch following the latest trends in smartphone design.
Nokia Mobile has priced these phones very aggressively in India and with this pricing strategy, they are clearly trying to compete with brands like Xiaomi, Huawei and Honor in India who sell their phones at very low prices on online marketplaces like Flipkart. Nokia Mobile has partnered with Flipkart and both Nokia 5.1 plus and the Nokia 6.1 plus will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart. This has helped Nokia Mobile to cut distribution costs and further reduce the price of their phones.

The pricing has been kept very aggressive this time and Nokia Mobile is clearly targetting the Chinese brands. Nokia 6.1 plus comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage and will be available at an attractive price of ₹15,999/- in India.

Nokia 6.1 plus will be available for purchase from 30th August exclusively on Nokia.com and Flipkart.com. You can now Pre-Order the Nokia 6.1 plus from nokia.com.
