Nokia X5 Unboxing along with a Comparison with Nokia X6 and Nokia 7 plus

Nokia X5 Box

Nokia Mobile launched the Nokia X5 today with an attractive price and specifications making it one the best phones when it comes to Price to Performance ratio. Just a few hours after the launch, Nokibar has posted the Unboxing video of Nokia X5 on Baidu as well as on YouTube for international viewers. Not only the phone but also the box looks quite similar to Nokia X6.

Nokia Mobile has cut corners by using a polycarbonate frame, a 19:9 HD+ screen on the X5 but have managed to include a powerful Helio P60 processor and possibly better cameras than the X6 and to some extent even the Nokia 7 plus. What makes this device even more interesting is its price. It will be available for a price starting at 999 Yuan in China (Rs.10,200 approx.). But in other countries, the pricing might be slightly higher.

Here are a few pictures that were taken with Nokia X5, Nokia X6 and Nokia 7 plus: (Do note that X5 and X6 used here are prototypes and not the final units)

Nokia X5 takes great pictures and the images showed in this video look better than both the Nokia X6 and Nokia 7 plus. Nokia X5 also packs a full-fledged Pro mode just like the Nokia X6 and Nokia 7 plus. It's a bit early to say this but looks like HMD Global have improved their camera software and its evident from the above images.

Surprises don't stop here! Nokia X5 is a beast when it comes to performance, thanks to those Cortex-A73 cores on the Helio P60. It performs as good as the Nokia 7 plus with Snapdragon 660 and here are the AnTuTu scores:

The video is in Chinese but you'll definitely enjoy watching it!

Nokia Mobile has a clear winner here and if they manage to keep the pricing competitive in other countries too. This could be the next best mid-range Nokia device after Nokia 7 plus and could easily rule the sub 15k price segment.
